God has given you gifts. Not just life, health and strength – we all know about these and are blessed to embrace them – but things like serving, teaching, encouraging, helping needs, giving, leading, saying what the Lord gives you to say, showing compassion and mercy are also gifts from God that he liberally gives. Notice that these gifts are everyday behaviors that also reflect the love of God in your heart. Spend the day discovering your gifts, and by the way, this is only a partial list…
Give us the kindness to hear with compassion, to offer support, loving comfort and care
Give us the courage to do what is needed, the wisdom to choose what is right and fair.
Give us the vision to see what is possible.
Give us the faith, that will help pave the way for a present that is hopeful, a future that is peaceful -
Give us a heart to bring joy to each day. AMEN
