dness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.

espectful enough of God’s power to acknowledge and worship The Lord, but th=
ey are self-sufficient enough to live their lives independent from God.&nbs=
p; It is the arrogance of that thinking that makes them lukewarm (v.17a).&n=
bsp; Jesus said “you cannot serve two masters” (Mt. 6:24). Remember t=
hat God is not looking for a building full of good, law-abiding hard-workin=
g church folk. Deeds alone won’t cut it (v. 15). The Lord seeks=
committed followers who see a relationship with Jesus as the source of all=
things in their lives.
Lord, we seek to place our lives in Your refiner’s fire. Cover =
our nakedness, heal our blindness, and remove the poverty of our faith.&nbs=
p; Help us to know the power and strength behind being Your witness in all =
things, in Jesus name … AMEN.
