“Zeal” and “fervor” in our text infers an inner excitement one has about the Lord in your life. If its inside, then it ought to be shown on the outside, as a consistent part of your personality. There are saints in the churches of my life that I remember fondly, because of their steady zeal for living in Christ no matter what the circumstances (can you think of someone like that?). So let me ask, do people in your life (friends, folks on your job, in your building/neighborhood) know that you’re a Christian? What do they consistently see regarding your spirituality?…
O Lord I thank you for today, and for the fervency of your love and attention on my life. I pray that I can replicate that same consistency in my actions and behavior, so that people can see Your light shining in me, in Jesus name I pray, Amen…
