What is Your Mission?

 =
In every “Mission Impossible” movie there is a moment where the ma=
in character receives a message from HQ.  The voice says, “Your missio=
n, should you choose to accept it…”

In life, every Christian has a mis=
sion:  to be a follower of Christ, and to obey the will of Christ in t=
heir everyday living.  Jesus told his disciples to “go” and make disci=
ples. because they have authority through Christ.   So tell me, how do=
es your life fit into the plan of “making disciples”?  It is not just =
the ministers job, or the deacons or the church officials assignment. =
It is also your charge (should you choose to accept it!).  Can you se=
t a goal this year of telling people about the wonderful works of Christ, a=
nd the opportunity of salvation for their souls?

 O God, we=
think about the blessing we have of being Your disciple. Thank you for sav=
ing us from evil and from ourselves.  Move in us this season to be an =
instrument in your mission.  Provide us an opportunity to witness, and=
help us to fulfill Your commission in us, in Jesus name, Amen

God bless,
