Monday Morning Quarterbacking
I could hardly look at my Facebo=
ok page last night after the game. It is well known that I am a Patri=
ots fan, and I really thought we had a chance to win. But we lost, fa=
ir and square, and the Giants played well and deserved the championship. &n=
bsp;I knew I was going to see on FB and hear (on my voicemail) my “Giants f=
an” family and friends gloat on the win, and they did not disappoint.  =
;The scriptures above, however, are a comfort to me. This was given t=
o me by my pastor – this is what Rev. Gerald preached on Sunday. Who =
knew they would help me this morning (the Holy Ghost of course)! I gi=
ve them to you. We must bless others even when they don’t reciprocate=
, because of the spirit of compassion, humility, love and sympathy that God=
instills in us every day. SO, on this Monday, I say to the Giants, j=
ob well done, and get ready for next year!!

O God, we bless your name, and thank you for all things. We pray=
for both teams today, that you bring healing to the hurt, and comfort to t=
he downtrodden. Thank you for the greater lesson that you gave throug=
