Freedom Through the Spirit

17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.?”

2 Corinthians 3:17-18

Jesus was tired after walking through Samaria, and sat by a well.  A woman came by to draw water.  After a brief conversation, Jesus offered her “living water” (John 4:4).   Despite the fact that she was an outcast in her own country, Jesus brought her salvation.  Jesus didn’t change the people around her, he changed her.   The presence of the Lord invites freedom from the constraints of this world.  The world will deal with you as it wishes, but when Christ grabs hold, you reflect His glory.  Paul was free to minister to the Corinthians, despite their attitude toward them, because he had the Spirit of the Lord.  You can move on today, because of the same promise from scripture.  Remember where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom…

O God, great is Your faithfulness to us, and grateful we are for your amazing grace.  We pray that you will remind us of Your presence today, and of your liberty and peace,  in Jesus name, AMEN

God bless,
