Romans was Paul’s great book – a text that he knew would be read by those who held the seat of power in the world. By the time of the 12th chapter, Paul became reflective, encouraging and instructional to believers who suffered persecutions and indignities at the hand of the powers that be. His first instruction is to lose yourself in God. A sacrifice is an offering made where something is given up by you to please the One you’re giving to. What are you giving to the Lord today? Jesus said that those who lose themselves will be found again (Luke 15:25). Read the text carefully. What will be your Monday morning sacrifice to God?…
So forget about yourself, and concentrate on Him and worship Him…
So forget about yourself, and concentrate on Him and worship Him…
So forget about yourself, and concentrate on Him and worship Christ the Lord
Worship Him, Jesus Christ the Lord!
AMEN
