15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. 16 Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts. 17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Colossians 3:15-17 |

Life is given to us and there are no guarantees, so we ought to be thankful for every moment. That’s the thrust of Paul’s verse today. Letting Christ’s peace rule in your heart, being thankful. What does that look like for you today? It is something that be sustained throughout the day, if you just let go of the things that block Christ’s peace from ruling (Paul says “Let” it rule). Try it today…
O God, remove from me the things that block Your peace from ruling in my heart, and teach me to be even more thankful for life, in Jesus name, AMEN…
