Did you go to church o=
n Sunday, and if you did, was it an experience or a duty?  In our text=
, Israel’s worship becomes like a duty, and God is angry with them because =
of it.  I think insincere worship is something that angers God because=
it gives the appearance of sincerity.  The road to becoming sincere is an inward journe=
y – you put your heart in it,  turning the focus of your life off of y=
ourself and onto others (v. 17).   It never hurts to occasionally=
reflect on why you worship God in the first place.  I’ve personally f=
ound those reflections to refresh and renew my relationship with God! =

 Lord, I rejo=
ice in a new work week.  In this time of change and transition, I cele=
brate you as the unchanging, steady hand in my life.  As I pray this d=
ay, bless our reasoning together, in Jesus name I pray,  AMEN

God bless,
