Holiness is not perfection. Holiness is a lif=
estyle that distinguishes a Christian from everyone else in the world. =
; As Peter strives and struggles with the rest of the Christian leaders to =
preserve the faith in the midst of persecution, he emphasizes a discipline =
that we should embrace. Every day, some action will occur in your lif=
e that will involve you exercising your faith. Practice self-control =
by setting your hopes on God’s grace. Resist evil. Live as a “f=
oreigner”, in other words, live remembering that we are both earthly and sp=
iritual beings, and what is spiritual will last. When Jesus enters yo=
ur life, your life transforms. Live that change today, by the power o=
f the Spirit…
