This morning comes from Amos.  He was known as=
a bold and eloquent mouthpiece for the Lord, and what is striking about hi=
s message is its clarity.  The most famous verse from Amos chapter 5 i=
s v. 24, but I also like the two above.  It is clear:  seeking th=
e good in your life will lead to life – to more life according to Jesus (Jo=
hn 10:10).  The key to life’s abundance depends on what you’re looking=
for.  We sometimes muck up our days with ambiguity and uncertainty.&n=
bsp; Be clear today.  Seek what is good, love good, and the Lord will =
be with you every step of the way…

 “Once earthly joy I craved, sought peace and rest; Now Th=
ee alone I seek, give what is best.  This all my prayer shall be: More=
love, O Christ to Thee; More love to Thee, more love to Thee!”  =
