Do you know why maintaining a daily devotion is imp=
ortant? It helps to keep you reconciled to God. Reconciliation,=
in accounting terns, means making sure that the financial records are in a=
greement. A daily bible reading, prayer and reflection reminds us who=
we are, whose we are, and why we are here. Although you may have a j=
ob to go to, or school to attend, or other daily tasks, those things aren’t=
as important than the reminder that we are God’s children, that we belong =
to Jesus, and that we are on this earth to help the Lord “reconcile the wor=
ld to himself”. Its a great way to temper your day: to go out i=
nto the world in agreement with God…
Dear Jesus, I thank you for the chance to reflect=
on Your presence in my life. I praise you for the opportunity to beg=
in this day in conversation with You, and to align my life and lifestyle to=
You. Cleanse me, embrace me, speak to my soul and use me, in Your na=
me I pray, AMEN.
