investigated everything from the beginning, I too decided to write an orde=
rly account for you, most excellent Theophilus, 4 so that you may know the certainty of the things you have been taught.

As some of you are preparing last-minute shopping this Friday=
(!), I thought I would bring to you the prologue of the book of Luke. =
These are the verses written to open his account of the Savior’s life, and=
they determine the purpose of the book.  As you gather with family an=
d friends, or as you reflect on the meaning of Sunday, remember this ancien=
t story has been handed down for generations, by those who were eyewitnesse=
s.  Remember to share this story with your family and friends.  R=
emember to hand this story down to your younger generations.  Tell the=
m about Mary, Joseph, Elizabeth and Zachariah, Bethlehem and the manger, th=
e shepherds, the star.  Tell them about God’s gift to the world, and h=
ow hearing about the birth of Jesus affected you.  Teach them about wh=
y its important to know and believe this story, and have a wonderful Christ=
mas weekend!

 O Lord=
, we bless your name on this most holy of remembrances.  We know of th=
e certainty of what we’ve been taught about You.  We believe in You.&n=
bsp; Help us to pass this story, and its meaning to us, down to our younger=
generations, in Jesus name, AMEN
