Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open=
the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not=
be room enough to store it. 11 I will prevent p=

their fruit before it is ripe,” says the LORD Almighty. 12 ”Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a=

Test God Fearlessly  &nb=
sp;

 =
We are not alone in the testing realm.  We =
also serve a God that encourages us to test him.  In Malachi, God chal=
lenges the masses in the test of tithing, but also says that the act of giv=
ing is also a challenge for the Almighty.  “Test me and see…” says t=
he Lord, “see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven”.  Som=
etimes we neglect to understand that tests in life also reveal the extraord=
inary power of God in our lives.  With each summons to endure, God als=
o rises to the occasion.   With the Hebrew boys, the Lord took the fir=
e out of the furnace.  Through Esther, the Lord made a way for Israel =
to be saved.  In the storm on the lake, Jesus saved his disciples by s=
aying “Peace, be still”.  Tests will come, but God will also be reveal=
ed in the fullness of his might.  Going through right now?  Wait =
on the Lord.  God will be right on time…

O Christ Jesus, when all is darkness and we feel our=
weakness and helplessness, give us the sense of Your presence, Your love, =
and Your strength.  Help us to have perfect trust in Your protecting l=
ove and strengthening power, so that nothing may frighten or worry us, for,=
living close to You, we shall see Your hand, Your purpose, Your will throu=
gh all things.  Amen.
