At the End of the Day…
God directs all things by his in=
finite wisdom. We don’t have a chance to see what He’ll do for us tom=
orrow (or to us!), so, at the end of the day, we wil=
l have to trust God to see us through. In this wonderful doxology, Pa=
ul quotes from 2 familiar chapters in the Old Testament: the first (v. 34) =
is from a chapter of hope, Isaiah 40, and the second (v. 35) is from a chap=
ter of resolutions, Job 41. We realize from both chapters that God is=
our all and all – the only real power to be reckoned with in this world.&n=
bsp; Thanks be to God for always being on the throne!!…
