Remember Job? The rich man=
from Uz lost his property, his livestock, his children, and his health.&nb=
sp; His wife and his friends harassed and berated him. And the entire=
time, God was silent about Job’s plight. Having every reason to curs=
e God, however, Job instead praised God and challenged those around him to =
have faith in the Lord. At the end of the story, Job gained everythin=
g back and double. Now, we all know there was a lot of angst, hurt, p=
ain, anguish and anger in-between. But God has a way of working every=
thing together for the good. Your troubles today may be bad, but wai=
t on the Lord awhile and work while it is day… God will work it out for y=
ou…

Dear Jesus I thank you for being a God who cares for the whole of my l=
ife. You care about all my yesterdays, todays and forevers. You=
see it all at once. Help me to remember that trouble doesn’t last al=
ways in my life, and that love can conquer everything that seeks to destroy=
me. In Jesus name, Amen
