chains in a Roman prison. To “learn to be content whatever the circum=
stances”, now that’s the grace of God at work. The inner peace Paul d=
escribes is the presence of the Lord in our spirit. He calls it a “se=
cret”, I believe, because we often let life get in the way of our discoveri=
ng the power of God’s presence. In any circumstance you can endure an=
d overcome, because Jesus has the power over life and death. You may =
face a rough day today, but you do not face it alone. You have =
Jesus, and you can do all things through him…
or me. I praise you because you are with me, and I feel your presence=
in my life. I ask that you grant me the inner peace I need as my dai=
ly portion, and bless others who see the Christ in me, in Your name I pray,=
