Fearless Joy
The Dictionary defines “joy” as =
“deep happiness and contentment” When the bible talks about joy, I be=
lieve that it means it in that way – something that is sustainable. O=
f course we can have moments of joy, anyone can (even the New York Knicks!)=
. In our heart of hearts, however, we seek something that lasts. =
; Something that will be there when we awake in the morning, and still be t=
here when we sleep at night. What is the source of your joy? Th=
e two parables illustrate two people who invested their livelihood in somet=
hing that, once acquired, would take their living to a different level.&nbs=
p; So, what will you invest in today? How will you strengthen your jo=
y to a sustainable level?
