Fearless Patience

Be longsuffering – or patient – =
with the people around you today.  Consciously practice patience today=
, and understand in your heart what it means to take your time with someone=
.  Maybe its me, but I find that someone will eventually get on my las=
t preacher-nerve at some point during the day (!).  But look at this v=
erse from Peter.  We tend to forget how much patience the Lord takes w=
ith us.  God keeps his promises to care for us, waits for us and waits=
on us.  God’s love wants everyone to be brought into deeper relations=
hip with Him.  We must turn around and extend the same courtesy to oth=
ers.  Can you do it – be more patient today than yesterday?

Lord, I can get so caught up in the ca=
res of this world – that  sometimes I find myself treating others wron=
gly.  Forgive me of my impatience with your children – my brothers and=
sisters.  Bless me opportunities today to be more longsuffering in my=
life, in Jesus name,   AMEN

God bless,
