Fearless Kindness

What does it mean to be kind?&nb=
sp; We can look up the dictionary definitions – being warmhearted, consider=
ate, generous, sympathetic to the plight of others.  But one thing it =
does not mean is weakness.  In the early church (as illustrated in our=
text above) Christians were known to encourage and exhibit loving and kind=
attitudes.  This was in stark contrast to how the larger world dealt =
with relationships.  So it is today.  In this world people can mi=
stake kindness for weakness, but in the life of the Spirit it is a source o=
f strength.  Commit acts of kindness today, and allow them to flow fro=
m the depth of your heart.  God will be pleased.

Lord, show me where an act of kindness=
will make a difference in someone’s life, and lead me to do it.  I pr=
ay that you will bless me with these opportunities, in Jesus name, &nb=
sp; AMEN

God bless,
