Use the Name

Peter and John brought healing t=
o a man who was lame outside the temple.  What landed them in trouble =
was not the act itself, but the name they used to perform the miracle.&nbsp=
; The religious leadership tried to argue with Jesus’s disciples about the =
danger of twisting their understanding of how God operates, but Peter and J=
ohn told them that they are compelled to testify about what they “have seen=
and heard”.  They were unlearned men, and could not articulate the th=
eology of faith, but they can bear witness to the impact of Jesus in their =
life.  And so can you.  Living your life in the name of Jesus (on=
e definition of Christian means, “of Jesus”) will bring the power of God in=
your life.  Miraculous things will happen that you cannot conventiona=
lly find answers.  Rather than trying to find an explanation, give God=
praise and bear witness to His goodness.  It will build your faith.
