Attitude of Gratitude

A careful look at this verse rev=
eals a connection between “sober judgment” and “measure of faith”.  Th=
e humility Paul talks about comes as you more tightly embrace the faith tha=
t God has given you.  When one steps out on faith into the unknown, yo=
u discover the power of God as it moves in your life.  You realize tha=
t you achieve your hopes dreams and goals not by your own might or power, b=
ut by the Spirit.  There are also times in which the consequences of y=
our actions should lead to disaster, but it doesn’t.  You’re spared de=
feat, humiliation or judgment because of God’s grace and mercy.  This =
is why today, you should practice an attitude of gratitude.  Be gratef=
ul that you are alive, and that God loves you – all of you – and holds you =
in His arms…

Lord, we come to prayer as humbly as w=
e know how, realizing that we are who we are because You are God all by you=
rself.  We thank you for everything today, and we are grateful for You=
r love.  Bless our attitude of gratitude today, and help us to spread =
it among those we touch, in Your name we pray,  AMEN

God bless,
