Getting Along Together

We come from different backgroun=
ds, different walks of life, different class and status strata; and we all =
sit together in a place to worship the same God.  Paul had to deal wit=
h the inevitable scrapes and conflicts that go with so many different peopl=
e coming together, and used the human body itself as a way to understand ho=
w we can “all get along”.  What was his point?  How about this ad=
age:  The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.  We are spi=
ritually stronger acknowledging our connections to each other and nurturing=
them, than sitting collectively as isolated individuals.  Ask yoursel=
f today:  how can you help to make the fellowship stronger at your chu=
rch?

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pr=
ay also for those who will believe in me through [the] message, that all of=
them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they a=
lso be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me.”  (J=
ohn 17:20-21)  AMEN

God bless,
