Fearless Refuge and Strength

Meteorologists that the warm wea=
ther we’ve been having will end for the time being.  They were right (=
!).  But no matter what the weather, it will not stop my morning routi=
ne.  Every morning in the stillness, I make my coffee, do my devotion =
(which includes writing to you) and feed the cats (both inside and outside)=
.  Its because I have a roof over my head – my home.  If a storm =
would happen the night before, I’d be safe in my bed, peacefully asleep, st=
ill able to get my rest.  The presence of God gives all of us that kin=
d of peace, because a “refuge” means both “safety” and “security”.  Re=
member Jesus when he was asleep in a boat while the winds and the seas rage=
?  Let the peace of God be your anchor today…

Lord, we rest in your peace, and we re=
joice in your safety and security for our lives.  I ask that you bless=
our day, and remind us, when trouble arises, that You are with us.  I=
n Jesus name, AMEN

God bless,
