ived in Jerusalem challenging the authority of those in charge of the templ=
e. We usually concentrate on the moneychangers and the forced exit pr=
ovided by Jesus, but there is something else to consider. The temple =
had an outer court (where the sacrificial animals were sold), and an inner =
court (where they were sacrificed). Jesus was trying to make the oute=
r court reflect the reverence of the inner court. Does your outer life refl=
ect your inner faith? In what ways does your everyday living display =
your belief in Jesus? Does Jesus need to “clean out” your oute=
r life and get it in shape??
ease help me to ‘walk my talk’, and help my outer life be reflective of my =
inner belief in you. In Jesus name, AMEN
