So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”
But he =
said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger w=
here the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe.”

A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was wi=
th them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and =
said, “Peace be with you!” 27 =
Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Rea=
ch out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”

Thomas said to him, “My Lord and my God!”

Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have b=
elieved; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”=

nbsp; Thomas is the classic example, as he was not with the others when Jes=
us appeared after the resurrection. “Unless I see…feel…I will not=
believe it”. He said. Some people would think it sacrilege to =
doubt at this critical moment. Jesus didn’t. When he appeared a=
gain, he held out his hand and stretched Thomas’s faith. Faith is hop=
e in what’s not seen, and because we live in a world where scientific proof=
dominates, doubt can creep in. But doubt won’t stop Jesus from=
embracing you and stretching your faith. God is big enough to handle=
you, doubts and all. He handled Thomas, and his faith was affirmed a=
nd deepened. Just keep holding on and your faith will be also…
evidence of things not seen”. I sometimes I find myself questioning =
You, and what You can do in my life, even who You are. Help me like y=
ou helped Thomas – teach me and stretch me into a deeper faith in You. =
; Bless this day in Jesus name, AMEN
