5 Those =
who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desi=
res; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set =
on what the Spirit desires. 6 The mind governed =
by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peac=
e. 7 The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God=
; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. 8 Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God.
9 Y=
ou, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the =
Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not ha=

If you are looking for fu=
lfillment in life, put your mind to it, and look to the Spirit. The S=
pirit of God closes the loop of a complete life. The Romans text expl=
ains that the God’s Spirit does more than touch us on occasion. God’s=
Spirit dwells or resides in us (v. 9). Paul contrasts this with a si=
nful life that is hostile to God and the Law. . The difference =
lies with what you put your mind to. Let’s be determined to think on =
the Spirit (Philippians 4:8,9), and remember, a mind is a terrible thing to=
waste!!!.
hat whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pur=
e, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent or pr=
aiseworthy-that we think about such things. And the God of peace will be wi=
th you…. in Jesus name, AMEN.
