He buried him in Moab, in the valley opposite =
Beth Peor, but to this day no one knows where his grave is. 7 Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet hi=
s eyes were not weak nor his strength gone.
 8 Th=

time of weeping and mourning was over.

The Spirit in Joshua
  =20

There are many places in t=
he Bible where you will find the Spirit overflowing in God’s people.  =
When the nation of Israel was poised to go into the promised land, they wer=
e without their longtime leader Moses.  But God did not leave them alo=
ne.  Verse 9 reveals that Joshua was anointed by God to lead.  Th=
e Lord filled him with the Spirit when Moses laid hands on him.  The S=
pirit provides for the nation, and for a young leader who is filling some b=
ig shoes.  The Word speaks of the wisdom of the Spirit.  The Spir=
it provides it for all of us.

O =
God, thank you for how the Spirit can fill us.  Thank you for providin=
g wisdom and discernment when we need it.  Even when we are facing a l=
arge task. Grant us the insight and courage to call on your wisdom always, =
in Jesus name, AMEN

God bless,
