The sun will set for=
the prophets,
and the day will go dark for th=

7 The seers will be ashamed
and the diviners disgraced.

er their faces
because there is no answer from=
God.”

ower,
with the Spirit of the LORD,

Micah 3:5-8

Micah is known as =
the prophet who foretold the destruction of Northern Kingdom, and who, in M=
icah 6, said,
sp; And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love =
mercy and to walk humbly with your God.” &n=
bsp;
here, in the 3rd chapter, we see Micah, empowered by the Spirit, to speak =
the truth about the condition of his people. There are times in which=
we must wake up and face reality in our lives, and the Spirit pulls us out=
of our denial and our dodging reality to do so. But the Lord doesn’t=
leave us to our mess. The Lord restores and renews us to act justly,=
love mercy and walk humbly with God.
O Holy Spirit, Jesus asked the Father to give me the Spiri=
t of Truth (John 14:17). Help me to recognize You in the scriptures. Open m=
y mind to understand Your truths, and open my heart to accept Your truths i=
n faith even before I gain right understanding, in the Son’s name, AMEN
