Our Father

“The Lord’s Praye=
r” is put forth as a teaching template if you will, so, your everyday talks=
with God can have the basic elements reflected in this prayer.  You s=
hould, for example, revere and honor God as your Father/Creator as you pray=
(“Our Father”).  God made you out of his love for you, and that must =
be acknowledged.

Notice that the first part of the Lord’s Prayer is about God.  Its=
a good idea to put God first in your prayers, before you ask for what you =
desire.  In your prayers today, practice starting with praising and gl=
orifying God first, and see where your conversation takes you…

Lord, I have my own expectations about what I want from you.=
I now surrender to You, and reverence your Holy and majestic name.&n=
bsp; I bless your name forever, and I pray that you reign forever, in Your =
name we pray, AMEN.

God bless,
