Fearless In Warfare
Verse 13 brings us into a=
n awareness that we are in the midst of spiritual warfare. We are sus=
ceptible, as human beings, to the beguiling of the Evil One. If we do=
n’t watch out, we can fall under the influence. This petition reminds=
us to be ever wary of the devil’s ways (Eph. 6:12), and that deliverance a=
nd confidence in God is only a prayer away…
ealm. I ask for your strength to stand up under temptation whenever I=
encounter it. Your Word also tells me you will provide a way out of the te=
mptation (1 Cor. 10:13). Please, Lord, give me the wisdom to walk away when=
I am tempted, and the clarity to see the way out that you will provide.&nb=
sp; In Jesus name, AMEN.
