When Barack Obama was elec=
ted 4 years ago, the country was in bad shape.  There are some who say=
that we’re not much better today.  But I like our President’s re elec=
tion manta:  ”Forward!”  African Americans can resonate with this=
saying.  We are 147 years out of slavery, and 47 years since the Voti=
ng Rights Act.  A generation after the death of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther=
King, Jr. and Robert Kennedy.  But we can still have hope, and move f=
orward as a people.  We still face a global financial crisis, wars, an=
d violence in our cities.  But we face it in abundant hope.  And =
we rejoice.  Because we know that it is God that provides.   Give=
glory to God today!!!!

Lift every voice and=
sing, till earth and Heaven ring, 
Ring with the harmonies of li=
berty; 
Let our rejoicing rise, high as the listening skies,&nbsp=

Let it resound loud as the rolling sea.
