28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
&nb=
sp; the Creator of the ends of the earth=
.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understan=
ding no one can fathom.
29&=
nbsp;He gives strength to the weary
&nbs=
p; and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and wea=
ry,
and young =
men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.&=
nbsp;
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run a=
nd not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

A reminder, from Isaiah, a=
bout hope in waiting. The nation of Israel was going back home =
to the promised land, after decades of exile. It was a long, agonizin=
g period of suffering (see Psalm 137). But now they are going home as=
a people. Hope in the Lord always renews and increases strength.&nbs=
p; If you are still waiting for something in your life, God has not forgott=
en you. Keep hoping – and rejoice! God will keep you strong…&=
nbsp;
Through many dangers, toil=
s and snares…
we have already come.
T’was Grace that brought us=
safe thus far…
and Grace will lead us home.
