As I prepare to meet this =
morning with clergy in Kansas City, I have the blessing of seeing the sun r=
ise over the Missouri River. Another day of feeling the love of God. =
The psalm illustrates for me the scale of the decision of God to save=
humanity. Verse 3 says “when I consider…the work of your fingers”,=
the expanse of the heavens, the balance of nature in the earth, “what is m=
an” or rather, who are we, that you care so much about us? Life is Jo=
hn 3:16 writ large. God’s love is clearly demonstrated for you today,=
for you are alive…
ver our heads, clothes on our backs, and food on the table. We have o=
ur portion of health. Help us to complain less today, and let Your lo=
ve show forth in our lives, in Jesus name we pray, AMEN. =
