Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice an=
d opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and th=
ey with me.
21 To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with =
me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Fa=
ther on his throne.

I quoted these verses on =
Sunday and thought about our spiritual opportunity. God is always kno=
cking on the door of your life, and its time to take advantage of the oppor=
tunity that the Lord has placed in front of you. We see our text as =
a way to get people to accept Christ as Savior, but they are actually verse=
s for believers. In it, Jesus beckons for a closer relationship with =
those who are hurting, confused and suffering. Jesus “stands at the door an=
d knocks”. Opening the door has always been the key to overcoming the=
world in this life. When you draw closer to the one who has overcome=
any and every trouble we face, then nothing is impossible. =
Well, what would you like to happen as you open the door of spiritual oppo=
rtunity? Get closer, and tell your hopes, aspirations and your dream=
s to the Savior, and see what happens…
r Lord, I hear You knocking. I open the door to my heart. By faith I =
believe I will be an overcomer of trouble, and trouble will not overcome me=
. Help me to embrace the reality that nothing is impossible for You, =
for this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith, in Your n=
ame I pray, AMEN.
