Since you call on a Father who judges each person’s work im=

ith perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed fr=
om the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19 but with the precious blood of C=

Holiness is not perfection=
. Holiness is a lifestyle that distinguishes a Christian from everyon=
e else in the world. As Peter strives and struggles with the rest of =
the Christian leaders to preserve the faith in the midst of persecution, he=
emphasizes a discipline that we should embrace. Every day, some acti=
on will occur in your life that will involve you exercising your faith.&nbs=
p; Practice self-control by setting your hopes on God’s grace. Resist=
evil. Live as a “stranger”, in other words, live remembering that we=
are both earthly and spiritual beings, and what is spiritual will last.&nb=
sp; When Jesus enters your life, your life changes. Live that change =
today, by the power of the Spirit…
Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy.&=
nbsp; Act in me, O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Draw =
my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I love what is holy. Strengthen me, O H=
oly Spirit, to defend all that is holy. Guard me so, O Holy Spirit, t=
hat I may always be holy. AMEN. (Anonymous prayer) =
