Sometimes you wake up anxi=
ous in anticipation of what might happen today. What do you do about =
it? I say: Focus on the positive, for today brings two very imp=
ortant things: Freedom in Christ, and The Lord’s attention on your li=
fe. You are not bound by the forces of evil – you are free to do the =
Lord’s will. And with the Lord on your side, you have the power to ov=
ercome anything. The psalmist says later in 118 that “I will not die =
but live”. So, declare this today, and let that anxiety ebb away…
and everything that it will bring to me. Bless me as I go about my d=
aily tasks, and help me to see your hands of mercy and grace in my life. &n=
bsp;Decrease my anxieties, and increase my joy today, in Jesus name, AMEN.&=
