when I forgive-if, indeed, I need to forgive anything-I do it in Christ’s p=
resence because of you, 11 in order to keep Satan fro=

Fearlessly Using Forgiveness

Forgiveness is more than l=
etting go, it is also a tactic we use in the fight against evil.  Paul=
tells the Corinthian Church to readmit someone back into their ranks who i=
s repentant of an act that is unknown to us.  Paul says to “reaffirm y=
our love for him (v. 8)” by forgiving him.  Satan uses the pain and re=
sentment of an unforgiving spirit to manipulate our lives.  To forgive=
and let go takes away that power, and we “outwit” the deceiver as a result=
.  Remember Satan can’t control what you don’t hold onto.  Reaffi=
rm the love that you have in your heart today, and practice forgiveness…

O God, I let =
go of all resentments and bitterness stored up in my heart. Wash me clean. =
Forgive me for all the condemning judgements I have made. Give me a new and=
right spirit that will help enable me to hate sin but look with Your compa=
ssion and love upon sinners, in Jesus name, AMEN
(King of Peace Episco=
pal Church)

God bless,
