Fearlessly Facing Monday Morning!

I’m one of those people who gets up early and stays up late wo=
rking on various projects, emailing, counseling  or thinking about the=
ministry before me.  Of course, I work hard because I want to keep up=
with my tasks, but the psalmist says that worry and anxiety can also drive=
my work life (eating the bread of sorrows).  When we awaken, the slee=
p God blesses us with, along with the new mercies of a brand new day is wor=
th more than all of our toil can accomplish.  The new day reminds me t=
hat if I really trust God, then I should trust Him with all my daily tasks.=
  Good advice from this song…

Lord, I thank=
you for the sleep You granted me last night, and the strength You’ve given=
me to go about my day.  Watch over all my affairs today, and remind m=
e that You are in charge of my life, in Jesus name,  AMEN.

God bless,
