ing In Solomon’s day, children were not only considered a blessin=
g from God, they were also part of a family’s inheritance from God’s endowm=
ent for humanity. As a great warrior is known in part by the quality =
of his instruments, so we are known by the seeds we sow in our youth. =
The point to remember is in verse 5. We all some day will have to de=
fend ourselves from adversaries (enemies at the gate). Taking a stand=
becomes easier, and your attitude changes when you don’t stand alone (v. 3=
-5). Remember to pray for your family and friends today – especially =
school-age children…
Lord, I ask this day that you remind me of Your hand in my life, and =
help me to see my problems in a different way. Give me the insight to=
sow my faith in You in my family and friends, in Jesus name, AMEN.
